Saw a bunch of birds on the way home yesterday under I-35. Pulled over to try and do a time lapse, but as soon as I got set up, they flew away. Managed to snap off one good one though.

I have a Dream Pie Social
Shot some footage for a pie social last weekend, raising money for a church in Clarksville. Awesome pies. The raspberry was my favorite, as well as these two gentlemen.
Red Building at Sunset

A production still of the red building. Who wouldn't want to call this home while working at Austin Studios? The phone is waiting to be picked up.

James McMurtry in 2010
Shot a few BTS shots of James McMurtry and his band performing for an augmented reality showcase. They used stage 3 at Austin Studios as their backdrop in order to comp them into some kind of virtual stage. Live music, welcome to 2010.
321 Lego
I was a PA for a lego competition last month. Here's a still of the Camera Operator, Blake Buesnel, shooting the table. It was a pretty rough day on our feet. I was wrangling his cables for 12 hours.

Gator Coma

Been ACing on Ben Slamka's film this past weekend. It was a fun shoot, lots of practical special effects, such as an alligator attack scene. It was really cold and rainy yesterday, but we rigged up some flags for the Camera, and used the new magic arm to get a bird's eye view of the above ground pool. Check out that alligator!

TV Set
Andrew and I found this TV set on Oltorf St. the other day at a garage sale, and it worked perfectly in his set for Brothers. Looks kinda like the set from Videodrome, without the pig intestines.

Dan's Hamburgers
One of my new favorite places in town, Dan's Hamburgers. Go there for breakfast and order the biscuits and gravy, forget about it. Good coffee too.
Jonny Stranger aka Master Randall
Jonny Stranger did a magnificent job in portraying the father figure in the upcoming Legends of the Samurai Brothers film. In this scene, he plays the ghost of Master Randall. Mad props to Amanda Ames for make-up and Samaya Brown for wardrobe.
Mothfight Music Video
Shot some B-Roll for a music video directed by my friend Walter Glass. Not sure what the song is, but its for a band called Mothfight. I saw them at Mohawk the other night, they're pretty good.
