TV Set

Andrew and I found this TV set on Oltorf St. the other day at a garage sale, and it worked perfectly in his set for Brothers. Looks kinda like the set from Videodrome, without the pig intestines.

Young Samurai Watching TV with Master Randall

Dan's Hamburgers

One of my new favorite places in town, Dan's Hamburgers. Go there for breakfast and order the biscuits and gravy, forget about it. Good coffee too.

Jonny Stranger aka Master Randall

Jonny Stranger did a magnificent job in portraying the father figure in the upcoming Legends of the Samurai Brothers film. In this scene, he plays the ghost of Master Randall. Mad props to Amanda Ames for make-up and Samaya Brown for wardrobe.

Mothfight Music Video

Shot some B-Roll for a music video directed by my friend Walter Glass. Not sure what the song is, but its for a band called Mothfight. I saw them at Mohawk the other night, they're pretty good.

Storyboards

I was going through a bunch of old stuff and I found these old storyboards that I scanned in for my thesis project. I may have to print a few out.

Samuari Brothers

This weekend we went out to Carol Edward's ranch to shoot the lead actor, Che Heartbreak's title sequence for the upcoming Legends of the Samurai Brothers trailer. The horses name is Coco and she's 14.

Swordman

Saw this guy swinging this big sword today. I pulled over to take his picture, and ask him about it. He made that sword when he was in high school. Now he battles against evil forces in his front yard on Broadmoor St. North Austin.

Garage Sale Women

I spotted a great garage sale yesterday, hosted by these very nice women. They hooked me up with a pretty sweet t-shirt from Thailand, that's too small for me. I'm probably going back today to grab a sweatshirt.

Frank T and the Woman

Last weekend, we asked Frank T from Texas Iron Magazine to bring out some motorcycle dudes to the set of Samurai Brothers. Luckily, he came through with two tough dudes looking to brawl with the brothers. The shoot went great, sliced the bikers in half, and ate some pizza with Frank T and this lovely lady who rode on the back of Biker #2's big ole harley.

Bob and the Bird

I told Bob to give me a big smile for this picture, and a bird happened to fly into the frame. Lucky for Bob, the bird didn't snatch his hairpiece.

Trash Car

I saw this car on the road the other day, and I'd never seen anything like it. The car was completely filled with junk. I don't even know how the person could drive. It's almost like they are trying to set a record or something. I was very impressed and I hope I see them around town again.
